There has never been a better time for self-discovery, self-improvement and self-awareness than now.  Underway within every experience we are having today is the desire to unleash our creative powers to be free.  We are a generation that can finally unlock the joy and creative power of life that resides in each and every one of us.  This opportunity wasn’t available until now.

In our shifts as a species, we’ve made it through the Dark Age, where our current technology and energy would have appeared to be magic and where freethinking got you killed.  Our transformation continued through the Industrial Age where we were free, but only to fit into the prescribed model of society that was packaged and sold to us, at the cost of our planet, and ourselves.  Sure life was better, but only because we had more stuff.  We were still separated into prisons of class, color, creed, nationality and gender.

Now we’ve shifted to the Information Age.  We exchange ideas, connect and explore our endless potential.  Self-expression is a commodity that once feared, is now celebrated.  Creativity is now our greatest gift taken the place of conformity.  The ability to absorb multiple streams of information at exponentially accelerated rates literally condenses time and spreads awareness to an interconnected web of millions of minds.  In one day, where our ancestors may have interacted with to four to six people, we have Emailed, Text, Twittered, Facebooked, Youtubed, Shared, Blogged with forty to sixty. Stepping out of the darkness, we are becoming enlightened with information (light = information) on every level of existence.  Where there is light, there is life.  And life is abundantly, naturally, FREE.

Throughout time, these collective shifts occur because really they are going on within you and I.  We experience shifts in our own lives daily, and though we often times fear the thing that will help us most to grow, it still happens.  How hard or how easy it is to shift, is directly proportionate to how much you resist or allow these shifts.  Eventually, we leave behind the safety of our mother’s arms to walk out into the world on our own.  Many of us transition our childhood imaginations for the chicanery of adulthood.  Some find that what worked for them in the past no longer works for them now, changing partners, jobs, locations, beliefs and even their own bodies.  Anyone who has every lost or gained weight knows about shifting.  Or even look how quickly our emotions shift in a split second.  We are always shifting.

A shift is simply the release of something that makes room for something entirely new.  As we age, we shift.  As we sleep, we shift.  When we see beauty and get inspired, we shift.  An event like death or loss can also shift our entire perception of the world and ourselves.  Shifts allow us to fulfill our purpose to evolve and expand.  And the source of every shift we see and experience, individually and collectively, originates from within.

Against all the odds of my childhood that predicted ending in impoverishment, incarceration, insanity or inhalation, including a near death electrocution that still leaves a scar on my lip today, The Seven Shifts; accept death, embrace diversity, trust the now, allow the alchemy of love, appreciate it all, make belief, and awaken the creator within, transformed my experience of life from the limited mundane to the unlimited sacred.  Use them to empower you to get to “know thyself” and see the divine power that is YOU.  It is a call to create freedom, by shifting out of the darkness of fear, and into the light of love.  Each of these seven shifts support individual transformations that will ripple out into the world, supporting the current collective shift as we leave behind the paradigm of fear to live the paradigm of possibility, which is love.

My being, purpose and calling is to love, serve and support you in all seven of these shifts.  As you take this illuminating inner journey, open up and allow yourself to surrender to the great shift that is life, and enjoy it, taking it a shift at a time.
